Kidney Patient Guide

well, i am not yet start dialysis, but i afraid one day i may need dialysis.

my husband willing to be living donor. However, i just afraid that the kidney he donate to me can only last few years.

i do not wish to waste his kindness and love to me, so if the kidney can only last few years then i do not want the kidney transplant. do advice me.

When a transplant is necessary, I would expect your doctors will explain the options, and the expected life of the transplant. In the west, this is usually about the time of starting dialysis or just before.
