if a women got Alport syndrome (kidney diseases) will it cause problem during pragnenecy?....

Hi Mdfaud,
As I understand it, yes but there are several forms of Alport. Your best source of information will be your GP or kidney consultant as they will know the current state of your kidneys, and your medical history.

You should also consider the risk of passing Alports onto the child.
Now 35 with Alports and I had my first kidney-versary 18th feb 2013....I hope to have many more.

My living donor and his family are doing all well.

is it true that if a women got Alports her nxt generation also have the risk of having alports?. :cry:
