Can anyone tell me please, what was your phosphate level from a blood test when you started on binders?

No idea, but it was high as I went onto Calcichew and Renvella at the time of being diagnosed at 8%. Sure you will be put onto them once your Dr needs you on them.
Now 35 with Alports and I had my first kidney-versary 18th feb 2013....I hope to have many more.

My living donor and his family are doing all well.

Hi Birdman,
This website will help you understand what is required, I hope. http://www.edren.org/pages/edreninfo/bl ... isease.php

Scan down the page and find the notes about Phosphate levels.
