National Transplant Week

Post by rheaybou »

So we are running quickly towards another transplant week and NHSBT are looking for people to share their own story during the WC 7th September.

Finally they look to be more positive about living donors and helping bring this option forward and not leaving it to transplant surgeons and transplant coordinators to push to potential patients and family members.

So what are you waiting for, get an email to them. Living donors, recipients, altruistic recipients and pooled donations. Without these people each year the numbers waiting would grow.

Now 35 with Alports and I had my first kidney-versary 18th feb 2013....I hope to have many more.

My living donor and his family are doing all well.
