Update Jooles

Post by jooles »

Hi Chaps

Just sharing some good news:
1. Consultant described my latest results as 'boringly normal' - I was elated!
2. First weekend caravanning - poured with rain on Day 1 and Day 3, but Day 2 was amazing. Walked for around 7 k across Purbecks in to Swanage, watched the Regatta, drank some Rose ( with a little food!) and took the Steam train most of the way back. Sat in the sunshine (wait.... no panic..... wore hat and Factor 50!) reading....

Whole caravan thing planned last year when I was on PD dialysis..... Much nicer now I'm not, but will continue to escape for long weekends even if the machine becomes part of my life again!

Hope all forum friends have enjoyed the weekend too.

Hi Jooles

That's great news. You walked a long way! When was your transplant please? I should know but I've forgotten. I blame it on the pills! Ahh I see you're 8 weeks ahead of me.

Brilliant, well done! I love being boringly normal, it's such a relief. :)

And bravo on the walking as well - Swanage is such a lovely part of the world.

Blame it on the pills, heard it all now dear! I think I will also try that but my family will crucify me no doubt
After a long time of waiting an anonymous donor has arrived in my life.
Words cannot express my gratitude to this lady and my paired exchange wife donor making it all possible
