another question when i have my catheter put in can i do both capd or apd or one or the other do i have a choice

Hi. You should have the choice between the two. If you opt for APD you will be trained to do CAPD first and then this makes it possible to do CAPD at times when APD isn't possible (for example if you travel and don't wish to take the machine with you). Amanda
