Update: Kidney tests every two weeks and now see Transplant Specialist once a month. Kidney working at .90 and if anyone knows what that is in egfr please tell me! I have tried the kidney calculators but they don't give me actual level. Just that it's over 60%. Oncology I now see every three months. Struggling with Prograf but otherwise all excellent x

Hi Grey

Yes 3 months as lymphomas and non hodgkins lymphomas are not treated or staged the same way as other cancers. Totally different ball game x

Had a check today, being referred to have a thing cut out on my right eye brow (small one) but more worrying being referred to the breast clinic for checking a new lump under my left nipple of all places. BREAST CLINIC with a bunch of woman, what next  Mind you I have been rather partial to a nice breast or two in my life...what am I complaining about?????

In my ignorance had to look it up, "Lymphoma is a blood cancer, which appears as a solid tumour most commonly in the lymph nodes of the neck, chest, armpit or groin." That is why they keep feeling under my arms and back of my knees !

Update October 2015?

Not sure if anyone is reading this still but hey ho may as well post!

For first time today my kidney transplant tests have all come in normal plus my oncology blood tests are still normal. My creatinine is a stable 1.0. some of the drugs will be brought right down in 3 weeks time. All is good. So ALBANY TRANSPLANT CENTRE NY you were wrong to throw me off your transplant list. Perhaps you should change your protocol and help more people in my situation instead of thinking of your success statistics.

I'm still keeping up with you Sporti, I have to fess up that it's partly because of your NYC connection. Makes CKD sound more cosmopolitan. I know, I'm sad :? But hey ho
