Re: Relocation
... it was easier to have it done down there than Bristol which is where Dorset transplants go. Good luck with you move! I'm not on advagraf, I take adoport, but I've always got it from gp and pick it up at boots like my other prescription items? Never had to get it at hospital? Marie

Re: Tacrolimus/Adoport absorption
Something I discovered - which I wish I'd been told earlier - is that if you have diarrhoea, tacro absorption, and therefore levels can rise, and needs to be monitored. Though it doesn't sound like that's the case for you right now.

Hi everyone, Does anyone have an experience of a sudden change in trough numbers for Tacro/Adoport? I've been hovering between 6 and 8 for a couple of years, no dosage changes in 4 years, then all of a sudden last month my Tac has skyrocketed to 15. :( I've reduced my ...

Re: Prograf to adoport
I changed over this week. Have to go back for bloods next week to make sure nothing's changed, but so far I've noticed no difference other than the tablets are physically bigger, meaning I need more water to swallow them

Re: Prograf to adoport
Hi Kaylee - I see no one has replied from your unit, if you search the subject this is part of the nation wide requirement and many people have switched and some have shared their experiences. I am sure that they are checking you closely and will jump on any changes but it is fairly rare to have a p...

Re: The Team Tibbs Results are in...
... Mine last time had a pretty big spike after I took the tabs but settled down to a reasonable background level. I'm on a pretty big prescription of Adoport (10mg twice a day) which by the sounds of it is the upper end of a 'normal' dose. I'm guessing that my levels came back high in Monday and they ...

... you're always well hydrated anyway. I never have completely discovered exactly how Tac levels vary across the 12 hours between doses (of Prograf/Adoport; 24 hours for Advagraf). I always took mine around midday and midnight, as my blood tests always seemed to be around midday, and I wanted it ...

Thank's for your reply, Yes he is going to take the tablets as he has been doing before. He is going to go to Southmead tomorrow morning just to put his mind at rest. Hate that they are changing the tablets, Will just have to hope they work as well as his old ones. Can't help worrying though

Re: Adoport (generic tacro)
You say 'on the box' - I assume you mean the printed instructions put there by your pharmacist. This comes from the prescription they've received, and I would suspect they've transposed the doses by mistake. If you're taking these tonight, and need to know what to do, if I were in your position I'd ...
