Our biggest quam was the used boxes and having to get them to a recycle bin. They add up really quick. We are lucky that the council have a weekly kerbside collection. I used to just put out a small carrier bag of newspapers but now its a mountain of box's & a small carrier bag of newspapers :l...

Fluid retention

Have been doing PD for 6 weeks, initially started off well. However over the past few days have been retaining up to 500ml of the dialysete fluid in the morning bag my blood sugar also shot up through the roof (I am a known diabetic) Doctors don't seem to be so concerned and say I am to keep better ...

Catheter fixation

Been on PD for just over 2 weeks now, got to grips with the hand washing and procedure but still not sure how best to secure the length of catheter.

Anyone got some good ideas or handy tips to assist.

Just been in to visit and everything went OK and should get home tomorrow. A little bruised & sore but doing well.
Booked up for next week to check the dressing and review the wound.
